Most balcony nets on the market are nylon or polyester — cheap, and it shows within a year: UV-bleached, stretched loose, chewed through by a determined cat. We build our Protective Mesh the same way we build our Cat Balcony: a welded, powder-coated steel grid fixed with steel clips.

It doesn't sag in summer heat or go brittle in winter cold. Push on it, pull it, let your cat climb it — a properly fitted steel mesh doesn't flinch.

The Protective Mesh (€279) is a flat steel grid that covers your balcony railing or window opening — it stops falls and escapes but doesn't give your cat extra space. The Cat Balcony (€899) is a full enclosure that extends beyond your window, giving your cat somewhere to actually sit and lounge outside. Not sure which fits your setup? Send us a photo on WhatsApp.

No. It's an open steel grid, not a solid panel — you get full airflow and a near-unobstructed view. It sits flush against your railing or frame rather than boxing anything in.

Both. We cut and fit the mesh to your exact opening — a single window, a French balcony door, or a full balcony railing run. Send us your measurements or a photo and we'll tell you what's possible.

Yes. Fabric and nylon netting sags, tears under a cat's claws, and degrades in sun and rain within a season or two. Ours is a welded, powder-coated steel grid — it doesn't stretch, tear, or need replacing every year.

Steel clips and brackets grip your railing or window frame mechanically — no screws into your wall or frame. It's safe for rented flats and fully removable.

Standard mesh is 5 × 5 cm, safe for cats over 4 months old. For kittens or smaller pets, we offer a 2.5 × 2.5 cm option — just mention it when you get in touch.

We ship worldwide — free across Europe, and to anywhere else on the planet for a delivery cost calculated per order. European delivery usually takes 3–5 business days after dispatch. For deliveries outside Europe, just ask us for a quote before committing.
